Of the tens of thousands of Kids Klub members over the years, there have been numerous families with unforeseen or tragic events in their lives. From an unexpected loss of employment—to a critical illness—to a sudden death of a parent, we have been there to help. Thanks to the efforts of our volunteers and the donations that we receive, Kids Klub Children’s Charities has been able to grant partial or full scholarships to many of the children that attend Kids Klub. Although scholarships are the primary use of its funds, the reach of Kids Klub Children’s Charities has gone beyond our centers. We have helped our local community by supplying the Department of Social Services, Children and Families Division with backpacks filled with toiletries, toys, clothes and other comfort items for children waiting on placement in the foster care system. We have even gone so far as South America—donating 200 pounds of Disney merchandise to an orphanage in Bolivia in attempt to bring a little magic into some children's lives.
