• Fill out the application inside the (red) Kids Klub packet. Please fill out all documents thoroughly as we do not accept partial or incomplete applications.
  • Be sure to check boxes at the top of the application as to which program/age group you are applying for.
  • Provide as much information and detail as possible on your application. For families who have children who are not yet born, we ask you to provide us with your due date and desired/approximate start date.
• Your application must be turned into the Front Desk with your initiation fee. To become a “daytime” member – this includes being placed on the waitlist –  there is a $250 one-time initiation fee per child. To become an “Evening/Weekend” member only, there is a $50 one-time initiation fee per child. Initiation fees are NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERABLE. 
• It is highly recommended that you write a note to accompany your application expressing your wishes for:
  • Your timeline for starting (e.g. “We would like to start as soon as possible/first available” OR “We would like to start September 1st”)
  • Your schedule preference (e.g. “We would like to start with your 3 Day Morning Program” OR “We need 5 days full” OR “We are completely flexible, please call with any availability”)

This helps us do our best to match your needs and assess availability in the desired class.

Congratulations! You are wise to be planning in advance as it can be challenging to secure infant childcare. If you have not already, the first step we recommend is for you to come in and tour our facility with one of our directors. Once you have seen the center and know that we are a good fit for your family, you will start the enrollment phase. In order to get on the waiting list, you must make your baby a member by:
1) Filling out some of the ENROLLMENT PACKET and
2) Paying your one-time initiation fee for a “daytime” membership (This initiation fee is not refundable).

Although you may not know all the details about your little one (possibly even including its name or gender), you will need to complete the first few pages of the enrollment packet with your family’s information; baby’s due date; the program desired (based upon our scheduled offerings); and desired start date.

1. Spaces are on a first-come/first-served basis.
2. Your child is plcaed on the waitlist according to the date you turned in the application.
3. The waitlist can vary in wait-times – the front desk will know the approximate wait-time for your child’s age group when you turn in your application.
   • The more flexible you are with your needs, the better change of getting in if they are on a waitlist (once you are in a program, you receive priority on an additional space that becomes available in your child’s class).
   • If you are very specific about your needs (e.g. you want 3 mornings only or 5-full only), it may make your wait lengthier.
   • The waitlist times are a “guess-timate.” Sometimes we anticipate spaces becoming available in a certain timeline. However, sometimes the wait can be shorter or longer than predicted.
4. You will NOT receive a call from the Admissions Department until there is a spot available for your child. However, you are welcome to call and check for any updates.

We take great pride in giving our families great service, and most families stay for the duration of the child’s need for care.

How do the spaces open?

Transitions: We typically have major transitions three times per year, but it can vary based upon the state regulations and the child’s developmental level. When transitioning, we move up children who have made it to the next developmentally appropriate level and/or exceed a state license age requirement. Transitions may create only a few openings or several, depending on the number of children in the school at that time. The largest transition is done in late August, allowing the majority of openings to be created in September.

Departures: Although we have a very low rate of turnover amongst our families, there are cases when a family either reduces their schedules or leaves the center.

Accepting the Space: An offer will be made to you with a specific program (number of days / hours) with a starting date. If you accept the spot, your child will be “locked” into the program so that the spot is no longer available to any other family.

1. Upon acceptance, you will have 24 hours to pay the full month’s tuition. This payment is non-refundable and non-transferable as shown on the program sheet (non-prorated).
2. An orientation appointment will be set up for your family to visit Kids Klub and meet with your child’s new caregivers. They will have lots questions for you and we know you will have lots for them! Expect that your orientation will take approximately 1 to 1 ½ hours.
3. We will need to have all required documents to complete your child’s file upon the start date, including the Physician’s Report from the Pediatrician and the Infant / Child’s needs Forms.
4. Payments can be made by cash, check, credit card (Visa/Mastercard/American Express/Discovery). We also provide a service that allows for your credit card or checking account to be automatically charged each month for your convenience.

Declining the Space: You received an offer but you are not ready or have other arrangements.
If you decline the space offered to you, it is important that you let us know if you want to remain on the waitlist for a future spot OR if you have found other permanent arrangements and no longer need consideration for future spots at Kids Klub.
If you decline, but want future consideration, here is what is important to know:

1. You DO NOT go to the bottom of the waitlist, your child remains on the waitlist based on the date you turned in your application.
2. You will receive another offer. However, it is unknown when the next space will become available. It could be a short or a long wait. We can give you an estimate based on the current waitlist time.

You received a call with the next space and it opens prior to your needs and you want to defer but only for a short time. What is the best thing to do?

Highly Recommended:
If there is a spot available but you would like to enroll later at a specific start date, you can ensure your spot will stay available by submitting a complete application, paying the non-refundable and non-transferable $250 initiation fee, and paying non-refundable and non-transferable full month’s tuition as shown on the program rate sheet (non-prorated).

Discouraged:
We definitely discourage turning down the spot if it is close to your needed and/or desired starting time. Due to infrequent openings, you could potentially not be called again for another 6-12 months depending on the length of the waitlist.
